Meet the Staff
Here's a little about us:
James was raised in Benton, Illinois. He is an attorney, with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science. He graduated from SIU Carbondale in 1989, and then Indiana University School of Law at Indianapolis in 1995, while he worked for Eli Lilly & Company.
Margaret was raised in Longview, Washington. She graduated with a BSN from Seattle Pacific University nursing school in 1989, and currently works part-time at St. Louis Children's Hospital in the NICU. Her parents are missionaries in Central Africa (DRC).
James & Margaret met in Indianapolis, where they were married in 2002. They moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado, where James served for 5 years in the legal department at Focus on the Family.
We have 4 children: Alice (14), Clara (12), Samuel (11), and Daniel (6). We are members of Sparta Reformed Presbyterian Church (RPCNA, a small, reformed denomination). We're excited, not only to continue the great ministry to families into which the Dykema Family have poured their lives, but also to have God provide such a fitting business and life work for us!
Rev. Dale K Dykema is the Founder and Former Administrator of Covenant Home. Rev. Dale Dykema was ordained in the Presbyterian Church of America (PCA). His work as administrator of Covenant Home Curriculum began in the early 1980s with the Christian school in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dale's vision and hard work are the basis of Covenant Home Curriculum's entire curriculum direction. Dale is now retired from Covenant Home Curriculum.
Jane Dykema is the co-founder of Covenant Home Curriculum and the developer of our series of excellent DIAGNOSTIC tests, as well as the origin of our transcript design and administration. These tests and transcripts are still helping Covenant Home Curriculum students find their most productive levels and the best college or university. Jane is now retired from Covenant Home Curriculum.
