Replacement Kits are made available to re-enrolling families only and contain all the consumable items from the curriculum to be used with a younger sibling, at a later time.

These kits are a helpful and money-saving service of Covenant Home, but while economizing, the absolute significance of providing a full, individualized program for each child must not be overlooked.

It is important to provide children with their own text, reader or workbook in order that they acquire a clear proprietary sense and so as to encourage the underlining of key words and concepts and develop other good study habits.

The following list of consumable items are found in the Tenth Grade Replacement Kit based on the 2000 Course Inventories Catalog. Reusable items which are new to the program this year are also included.

Goals of the Tenth Grade Full Curriculum:
To shatter the sophomoric vacuum or the academic doldrums and encourage a true sense of excellence we offer a writing assessment booklet, grammar review and further advances in vocabulary. At this austere level we are expected to write and speak intelligently and interestingly, thus our Etymology and Composition studies continue. SAT-type analogies are provided to prepare the student for college entrance tests. Unabridged classic literature with study guides are provided. A practical Bible study of Romans through Revelation is complete with test set and memory schedule. (Alternates are available.)  A survey of Western Civilization History from creation to modern times with CHC history overlay introduces the student to overarching themes and perspectives. In Science, Biology is taught from a creationist perspective. Lab materials are available for order. Math: Saxon Algebra 2 is included in the full curriculum.
